Corrosion Guard is a electrically driving anode that sends power through a titanium anode in the hot water heater. Unlike traditional sacrificial anodes, the Corrosion Guard is maintenance-free and designed to last for over 20 years. This product maintains highest quality and undergoes stringent testing, which makes us comfortable being able to offer a 20 year warranty. In addition, they are well known to solve problems with the smell of rotten eggs in hot water heater, instead of causing it.

What power consumption does the Corrosion Guard have?

Since the amount of current consumed by the anode can vary depending on the water's properties in different regions, providing an exact figure is challenging. However, on average, an anode will use approximately 10 kWh annually. Based on the average electricity price in the United States, running it continuously for a year would be about $1.2.
